Nicki Minaj Gets Out Of Her Retirement Mode; Drops A New Song Called ‘Fendi’
What retirement? Nicki Minaj seems to have changed her mind, as she drops in her latest single called Fendi
Only recently, rapper Nicki Minaj took the internet by storm after she announced her retirement from music. Well, this was an attempt to focus on her personal life and family. Taking to her social media, the Anaconda singer, in a now-deleted tweet, had written, “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE.” This didn’t go down with her fans and the replies under her tweets were evident.
However, it looks like the singer has now changed her mind and that too so quick that she even dropped in her latest song, which has been titled Fendi. The song also features Murda Beatz. It starts with Minaj’s voice, as she shouts Murda and PnB, further revealing that Fendi is her favourite song. Sticking true to its title, Nicki was sporting Fendi in most of the scenes. Check out the song below:
Meanwhile, a day after announcing her retirement, Minaj replied to one of her disappointed fans, tweeting, "I'm still right here. Still madly in love with you guys and you know that. In hindsight, this should've been a Queen Radio discussion and it will be. I promise u guys will be happy. No guests, just us talking about everything. The tweet was abrupt and insensitive, I apologize babe."
We guess that was a hint at scrapping her retirement plans! *winks*
